Country Retreat Hotel Restaurant Parc Broekhuizen - Leersum
In its current form, Broekhuizen country retreat dates back to 1810. After a great fire in 1906 it was renovated as much as possible in keeping with its old style. Originally there was a square shaped country house, which was later replaced by a white country house with further extensions. The façade shows the family crest (a silver, red and gold chequered cross) of the Utrecht family Van Broeckhuysen. The place now houses a renowned hotel and restaurant under the name ‘Parc Broekhuizen’. The restaurant is worth a visit to enjoy its culinary offerings.
