Boekesteijn Estate - 's-Graveland
Boekesteijn Estate houses a visitors centre and forms the starting point for many cycle routes in the area of ’s Graveland. Boekesteyn House, as we know it today, was built around 1770. The name Boekesteyn stems from the many birch trees that can be found on the estate. The distinct tower was added around 1920. At that time, the gardens were transformed into a landscape park. Today the house itself is used as office space and is not open to the public. The park however, can be visited.
