Discover the diversity of the municipality of Peel en Maas with this cycling route. The ride takes you through vast green forests and the calming surroundings along the canal, while also introducing you to charming hamlets and characteristic villages. Along the way, you pass several nature areas where the beauty of nature takes centre stage. One of the highlights of your cycling adventure is without doubt National Park De Groote Peel. This park, a true oasis of peace and nature, invites you to step off your bike for a while. It is also easy to park your car here. In addition to De Groote Peel, the route leads you past other beautiful nature areas such as Belfort De Vossenberg and De Waterbloem, each with its own special flora and fauna. At De Vossenberg, you can climb the lookout tower and enjoy a breathtaking view over the surrounding landscape. What makes this route unique is that you cycle through two provinces in a single day, as De Groote Peel lies on the border of Brabant and Limburg. This allows you to experience the diversity of the Dutch landscape in all its glory.
