Cycle route among the nature of Twente

Discover the beautiful nature of Twente during this rural cycle route, which takes you past various sights and historical places. Besides the farm landscape and moors you cycle through, you will also encounter some nice Pit stops along the way. One of these sights is the Leemansmolen, a historic mill from 1862 located at the edge of one of the villages. Here you can see how grain used to be ground into flour and how this mill is still in use. During the cycle route, you will also pass the Skoap'nskot sheepfold, where you can also enjoy a cup of coffee with local delicacies. The sheep here graze happily in the meadow, acting as a natural lawnmower for the area. In short, this rural cycle route offers not only beautiful nature but also interesting and historical sights to discover and enjoy the beautiful Twente countryside. Wandelparkeerplaats De Pollen is a short bike ride from junction 6 and therefore a good place to start this route.
