Pedal through the enchanting forests and fens of Oisterwijk and pause your nature ride for a local beer tasting. This beautiful landscape is full of water features: fens, lakes, and a babbling brook create magical spots among the trees. Once in the cosy centre of Oisterwijk, grab a fresh draught beer at Ambians on the village high street. As you approach Tilburg, stop by Stadsbrouwerij 013. Founded in 2018 and housed in a former grain and flour factory at the Piushaven, the brewery blends Tilburg’s identity with flavourful, authentic craft beers, each with its own story. Next, continue to Brewery De Koningshoeven, located at the Abbey of Our Lady of Koningshoeven. Since 1884, monks have brewed the famous La Trappe Trappist beer here. The brewery mixes traditional craftsmanship with sustainability, using its own well water and only natural ingredients. Finally, take a break deep in the woods at Boshuis Venkraai, a historic forest café offering more than 40 (regional) beers. Can’t decide? Just ask the house beer sommelier for advice!
