Cycle route along and over the Veluwe water
Harderwijk, Ermelo
This cycle route takes you across the Veluwe and along the water through a part of Flevoland. Harderwijk is situated on the border of the Veluwe and the Polder and therefore has the best of both regions: forest and water! On the way, you will also get to know Ermelo, a relatively young municipality (1972) but with a much older history. Its wooded surroundings made it an attractive location for healthcare organisations. And Ermelo still has four large care organisations within its municipal boundaries. The village is not only popular with care institutions; tourists also find their way here easily. In the summer, the population of the village triples. From Ermelo, you can cycle to the Wolderwijd. Continue your junction route across the Veluwe water with the ferry and enjoy your last kilometres. Note: you will encounter a cycle ferry along the way.
