Texel, Den Helder
Cycle from the top of North Holland to the only island with junctions. Hop on the boat at junction 1 in Den Helder and hop off at junction 1 on Texel. The kilometres travelled by the boat while you are enjoying the view simply count. Hop off at the various drop-off points along the way to experience this part of the Netherlands from different perspectives. From the dunes on the mainland, the views from the boat, the nature on the island and from the various vantage points. The nature of Texel has much to offer. From the lookout points, you can experience this from close by. Visit Ecomare if you really want to discover everything about the Wadden and North Seas and the nature on Texel. You shouldn't miss out on the cosiness of Texel either, take a seat at a terrace in lively Den Burg and enjoy a delicious glass of Texel's skuumkoppe. In short, there is plenty to see and do.
