Cycle route through Kampina and the Oisterwijkse Bossen & Vennen

The nature reserve Kampina is very varied with lots of woods, heathland and sand drifts along the way. At the Oisterwijkse Bossen en Vennen, the landscape can look fairy-like because of the beautiful ponds. Together, these two nature reserves are part of ‘Het Groene Woud’. During this cycle route, it is great to put your bike down somewhere and walk into the nature reserve. A good starting and finishing point for such a walk is Bezoekerscentrum Oisterwijk or at the stepping off point ‘Natuurgebied Kampina’. In these nature reserves, you will also come across several special animals such as dragonflies, Little Grebe, Kuifeend, Teal and the Tree Frog. You also pass the town of Oisterwijk and villages such as Lennisheuvel and Haaren. In Haaren, you will also find Nemerlaer Castle.
