Start your cycle route in lively Zandvoort, where the sea is always close and the beach invites you for a fresh start. From here, you cycle a short distance through Zuid-Kennemerland, where the vast nature of the National Park awaits you. Along the edge of Haarlem and Heemstede, you’ll soon enter the next stunning dune area: the Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen. Cyclists and walkers often spot deer, rabbits and even the occasional fox. So keep your eyes open... Several estates, windmills and lovely neighbourhoods later, you’ll pass the stunning Castle Keukenhof. The highlight if you’re a fan of flower bulbs. In spring, this area and the surroundings of Lisse are an explosion of colour. In Noordwijkerhout, surrounded by flowers and close to the sea, the final part of your route awaits. This is where the real enjoyment begins: you’ll ride along the wide coastline and through the wild dunes, with sea views and wind in your hair. The circle closes in Zandvoort; fulfilled, refreshed and full of impressions.
