For example, you will pass Castle Keppel, which was the center of many warring battles during the Eighty Years' War. Like many castles, it was rebuilt or modified several times by its various inhabitants. You can now view the final appearance of the 1850s castle at Keppel Estate. See the sails of Mill Aurora turning? Then step inside to take a look at this beautiful mill, because when the sails turn, the miller is present. The grain ground here later serves as animal feed. The surroundings of Doetinchem are diverse and rich in history. You will find many nice stopping points while cycling through the green region.
