One of the highlights is De Malpie, famous for its bat cellar. A remarkable variety of bat species lives here. Above ground, you can feast your eyes on the different woodpecker species that occur in this area. It is a real treat for nature lovers. After De Malpie, you are welcomed by the Leenderbos. This forest, with a past as a production forest for mining timber, has gradually been transformed into a lush deciduous forest. This change has given the forest a new, more natural character. As you cycle your way back to Bergeijk, two more natural treasures await you: the Natuurtuin and Stadstuin. These green oases offer a perfect ending to your cycling adventure.
