Amsterdam Canal District (Grachtengordel) is on the UNESCO World Heritage List because together they form a masterpiece of urban planning, hydraulic engineering and architecture. Of course, everyone has their own favourite spot to look out over the Amsterdam canals. We chose the spot where the annual Prinsengracht concert takes place, in the middle of the 9 Streets, full of picturesque monuments and special shops.
