Bonkmolen - Lexmond

N 51.9217624 / E 5.0058334

Around 1852 the Bonkmolen was built on the Kleine Kanaaldijk in Lexmond. Together with the Vlietmolen and the Lekkersche Molen, he drained the enormous Lakerveld polder. Until 1945, the Bonkmolen was able to do its job. The paddlewheel of this wip mill has a diameter of 5.90 meters with which it can 'wip' a lot of water out of the polder.
