Den Haller Mill - Diepenheim

N 52.195476 / E 6.575586

Den Haller Mill at Diepenheim is a water mill, located at the Molenbeek, and dates back to before 1169. This makes it one of the oldest mills in Holland. It is named after Jan Hallers, who bought the mill from the town of Deventer in 1870. In 1913, its owner Count Schimmelpenninck of Nijenhuis Castle on the occasion of his silver wedding anniversary presented the water mill to the borough. Den Haller Mill was renovated in 1979 and again in 2004. The volunteer miller mills the grain regularly. The mill is open to visitors regularly and there is also a shop.
